Adapt Health Care is an established allied health business providing multi-disciplinary services to our clients in their own homes. During that time the business has expanded and is now a multi-million dollar operation specialising in providing end to end, high-level multi-disciplinary allied health services.
We offer our clients a range or therapy services including Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Dietetics and Exercise Physiology. We are planning for rapid growth over the next 12 months and will be expanding our distribution across Australia.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide community-based services to a diverse range of patients in Rockhampton.
About The Role
You will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of services to eligible clients in the community. Our clients will either require standalone treatment or will be treated within the multi-disciplinary team.
The caseload is extremely varied (and stimulating) and includes referrals under a range of Government-funded programs including Department of Veteran Affairs, Transition Care, Hospital in the Home, Palliative Care, Home Care packages and the Community Support and Rehabilitation Team.
As an integral team member, you will be equipped with the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Formal qualifications as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Have, or be eligible for full membership with AHPRA
- Minimum two (2) years clinical experience
- Exceptional communication, analytical and time management skills
- Current National Police Certificate
- Full current Driver’s License
Please note that should you be successful, you will be required to undergo a national police check prior to commencement and hold a full open driver license (essential).
